Areas of Application In stationary, outpatient, and private practice settings for skin disinfection before injections and blood draws, before punctures, minor medical procedures, catheterizations, in case of accidents and minor injuries, as well as for eczematous infections of bacterial and mycotic nature. In the operating room for pre- and post-operative skin and wound treatment.
Contact Times According to DGHM for skin disinfection: Application on sebaceous gland-poor skin: Before punctures and injections ................ at least 15 sec. Before punctures of joints, body cavities, hollow organs ....... at least 1 min. Application on sebaceous gland-rich skin: Before all procedures ............................... at least 10 min.

Cutasept F: Composition: 100 g solution contains: Active ingredients: 2-Propanol 63.0 g, equivalent to 72% vol., Benzalkonium chloride 0.025 g. Other ingredient: Purified water. Areas of application: Skin disinfection. Contraindications: Do not apply directly near the eyes. Side effects: None known. Warning: Do not wet the skin under bloodless cuffs. Wait for complete drying on incision foils. Only use electrical devices after drying. Do not expose to open flames. Keep away from ignition sources. When used as intended, there is no risk of fire or explosion. In case of spillage of the disinfectant, take the following measures: Immediate absorption of the liquid, dilution with plenty of water, ventilation of the room, and removal of ignition sources. Flash point according to DIN 51755: 21°C. Flammable.
